Chad Pugsley, Founder & CEO
Founded by Chad in 2001, Fusionapps has evolved from a small consulting startup to one of the fastest growing companies in the nation, as recognized by Inc. Magazine. Despite an already over-saturated market filled with highly skilled innovators, Chad insisted on carving his own niche.
In the beginning, Fusionapps developed ColdFusion technology for Toys 'R' Us, and later, in 2004, Chad helped develop and support Toysrus.ca. Building on the momentum generated by these two projects and expanding data center capabilities, Fusionapps became the end-to-end technology vendor for Promontory Interfinancial Networks.
Prior to founding Fusionapps, Chad was a leading technology consultant focused on performance, scalability, and reliability of software platforms. By applying his knowledge and expertise, Chad made significant contributions to the development of Babiesrus.com and Toysrus.com. Today, Chad oversees Fusionapps' vision, strategy, and direction.
Mike Kaspar, Director of Project Operations
In 2008, Mike joined Fusionapps as the Director of Project Operations. His primary responsibility is the management and delivery of all client projects throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle.
Throughout the majority of his career, Mike worked for large IT consulting firms (Computer Horizons/TEKsystems, Econium/Vis.Align) that specialized in delivering projects across a wide range of industries including Insurance, Banking, Pharmaceutical and Consumer Products.
Mike has over 20 years of experience in IT, working in various hands-on developer and system programmer positions and eventually migrating towards team leadership and Project Management responsibilities. Today, Mike's responsibilities include estimating, scheduling, resourcing, quality assurance, and delivery.
Chris Gieger, Director of User Experience
In 2008, Chris reunited with some of his former Computer Horizons colleagues at Fusionapps, where he was brought on board to build the UX Design practice and help reposition the company as a leader in building and managing software-based business solutions.
Chris started his career at Grey Advertising in New York City, where he worked on large ad campaigns for Anheuser-Busch, Kraft, Levis, Ray Ban and more. After Grey, Chris became the Creative Director at smaller marketing and multimedia design shops, where he created award-winning websites, interactive CD-ROMs, ad campaigns, corporate identities and collateral for such clients as ADP, AT&T, The BOC Group, Engelhard, Franklin Electronics, Lucent Technologies, Nabisco, Panasonic, Roche Diagnostics, Sharp, Sony, and Toshiba.
For over seven years, Chris was the Director of User Interface Design at Computer Horizons/TEKsystems. At this position, Chris built the UX Design practice and developed the company's proprietary User-Centered Design Methodology. In 2006, Chris left TEKsystems to found GIEGER Visual Communications, which focused on helping start-ups and enterprises clearly express their ideas and make their products easy to use.
